Qingdao Wedonk was established in 2002, and its production base is located in Qingdao, China, a hometown of China’s carbon-based conductive and heat-conductive materials such as graphite and carbon nanotubes. The company's production base covers an area of over 40,000 square meters, and has an annual production capacity of over 30,000 tons. The unique carbon raw material production base has laid a solid foundation for Wedonk's research,  development and production of carbon-based conductive, heat-conductive, and anti-static materials. For over 20 years, Wedonk has been dedicated to the research, development and production of carbon nanotubes, graphene, graphite, carbon fibers, superconductive carbon black, and other carbon-based conductive, heat-conductive, and anti-static engineering plastics, rubber, and other high-molecular carbon-plastic composite materials, as well as their conductive and heat-conductive functional masterbatches. It is a high-tech enterprise that integrates research and development, production, and sales.

Conductive raw materials and finished products for PP, PE, PVC, PVDF bipolar plates using in flow batteries.

2002: Founding and Start Up

- Qingdao Wedonk Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. was established, focusing on the development and production of polymer materials.

- Established the first research and development laboratory to initiate preliminary research on carbon-based conductive materials.

2003: Technological breakthrough

- Successfully developed the first carbon-based conductive masterbatch and achieved small-scale mass production.

- Obtained the ISO 9001 quality management system certification, laying the foundation for large-scale production.


2008: Market expansion

- The products had entered the field of wire and cable and home appliance manufacturing, and havd been recognized by the industry's leading customers.

- Established industry-university-research cooperation with well-known domestic universities to accelerate technological innovation.

2012: Customized service upgrade

- Launched customized material solutions to meet the needs of high-end fields such as communications and automotive electronics.

- Obtained a number of national invention patents, made a major breakthrough in carbon-based thermal conductivity material technology.


2016: Internationalization Strategy Layout

- The product had obtained REACH and RoHS certifications and is thus eligible to enter the international markets such as Europe, America, Japan and South Korea.

- Achieved large-scale application in the fields of military industry and petrochemicals, and beco]ame a benchmark supplier in the industry.


2022: Breakthroughs in the field of new energy

- Developed conductive materials specifically for bipolar plates of flow batteries and entered the field of new energy energy storage.

- Initiated the research and development project of environmentally friendly functional materials to respond to the global carbon neutrality goal.
